Subject: Java EE 6 Development with NetBeans and GlassFish
To: Dataverse Team
Since Bob just stopped by after noticing I've been chatting with the
Glassfish guy* I thought I'd mention that I'm finding this video very
helpful and relevant for getting up to speed with the DVN technology
stack:
Java EE 6 Development with NetBeans and GlassFish - YouTube -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBNaiVWwAZw
The official post about it is here:
https://blogs.oracle.com/arungupta/entry/screencast_37_java_ee_6
Here's me committing as I work my way through the tutorial:
https://github.com/pdurbin/javaee6webinar-walkthrough
Next steps I'm thinking of:
1. Using Maven instead of Ant
2. Somehow including the database in the github repo so I can clone
the repo and build the app on another machine or on OpenShift or
CloudBees.
