Great talk!
I had asked about property-based testing. It looks like someone has
implemented an equivalent to Haskell's QuickCheck for R. It might be
worth a look:
https://github.com/RevolutionAnalytics/quickcheck
I also really enjoyed the discussion about code coverage and pull
requests. As of this writing, here is the pull request template we
use:
https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/blob/v4.6.1/PULL_REQUEST_TEMPLATE.md
. I just opened
https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/3727 to
remind ourselves to let new contributors know that they shouldn't
worry too much about not writing tests and the fact that their pull
request will get an angry red X on it if code coverage goes now, even
slightly.
